Spain expands to five offers, including solar surplus compensation

BillSave now supports five electricity offers from Endesa and TotalEnergies for eligible mainland Spain residential 2.0TD supplies. This update adds the complete Endesa Solar Plus offer alongside two TotalEnergies electricity offers. The two previously supported Endesa electricity offers remain available in the catalog.

Use uploaded interval data or IAMMETER Cloud readings in Run Bill and Compare Offers. The four ordinary electricity offers currently exclude solar self-consumption and export; Solar Plus has its own solar eligibility and settlement rules.

• TotalEnergies A tu Aire Luz Siempre has one electricity unit price throughout the day. Programa tu Ahorro uses peak, shoulder and off-peak prices.
• For either TotalEnergies offer, choose the annual consumption band applicable to your supply: below 3,500 kWh; 3,500–5,000 kWh inclusive; or above 5,000 kWh. The selection changes both energy and contracted-power prices. Use your supplier quote or annual consumption record, rather than extrapolating a short uploaded period.
• TotalEnergies calculations use the online electricity-only quote without FACILITA or bundled discounts. Annual revisable contract terms allow price changes.

How Solar Plus is calculated

Solar Plus is supported as one complete purchase-and-export offer. It is intended for eligible individual behind-the-meter solar installations with activated simplified surplus compensation. Collective or remote generation, virtual batteries and the optional Solar Advisor service are outside this release.

• Within each complete hour, grid import and export are netted before pricing. Use readings for the whole grid connection, including all phases, with complete coverage of the selected billing period.
• Surplus compensation is capped at the same billing period’s import energy charge. It cannot pay contracted-power charges, financing or meter rental; excess credit is neither carried forward nor paid out.
• Choose one complete billing period of whole local days, no longer than one calendar month. Missing readings cannot be treated as zero.
• The estimate uses the published first-year price, including the 7% energy discount. Enter actual P1/P2 contracted power and the daily meter rental shown on your supply bill. Annual power charges are divided by 365.
• Results remain quote estimates, not historical invoice reconciliations. Confirm contract eligibility and any switching costs; contract prices may change. Ordinary electricity offers with an optional solar add-on are not included.

Spain is now supported: two Endesa electricity offers

BillSave now supports electricity offer calculations and comparisons for mainland Spain residential 2.0TD supplies. The first supported supplier is Endesa, with two offers available in Find Plans.

Use your uploaded interval energy data or IAMMETER Cloud data to estimate costs and compare the two offers using the same consumption and contracted P1/P2 power. Enter the actual daily meter rental from your electricity bill.

• Endesa Luz 24h Online: one electricity unit price throughout the day.
• Endesa Conecta 3 Periodos: peak, shoulder and off-peak electricity prices.
• Results are labelled as quote estimates: annual contracted-power charges are divided by 365 and prorated by billing days. Cash rewards are disclosed separately and do not reduce calculated bills or savings.
• Initial support covers eligible new Endesa online customers on mainland residential supplies, without solar export or social-bonus support. Current-contract exit fees and power changes are outside this comparison. Confirm eligibility and current terms before switching.

Custom Offers and Community Offers are now available

Create your own electricity offer in My Offers, save it to your BillSave account, and use it in Run Bill or Compare Offers with your interval energy data. Your offers are private by default, and calculations based on custom rules are labelled as estimates.

Community Offers is a shared library of user-submitted offers. Public submissions require admin approval. Save a community offer to your account, adjust its rules to match your needs, and calculate using your own copy. Editing your copy does not change the public offer.

• Choose flat rates, tiered rates, time-of-use pricing, time-of-use with tiers, or weekday schedules.
• Add seasonal pricing, free-energy allowances, shared usage tiers, fixed charges, export credits and separate CL1/CL2 rates when needed.
• Find your saved custom offers at the top of Find Plans in a compatible currency, then select them for Run Bill or Compare Offers.
• Share a saved offer version by submitting it for public review. Community cards show how many users saved a copy, how many used a copy for calculation, and the number of successful calculations.
• If the available templates cannot express your pricing rules, use “Template doesn’t meet your needs? Tell us” in My Offers to submit a template request.

BillSave launches in France

BillSave now supports electricity bill estimation and offer comparison in France. The initial catalog includes four TotalEnergies residential offers for a 6 kVA subscribed power level.

Use your own interval energy data to estimate and compare how these supported offers would bill the same consumption. Initial French coverage is limited to the offers listed here; use the live France offer finder for current executable availability and confirm eligibility and current terms with the Supplier.

Create a BillSave account with your email

BillSave now supports direct account registration with an email address. Open Sign in / Register, choose Create account, and create a private BillSave workspace. An IAMMETER account or IAMMETER device is no longer required to use BillSave with uploaded interval data.

Existing IAMMETER users can continue with IAMMETER. They can authorise BillSave to load interval energy data from an IAMMETER Cloud Site without uploading CSV, or upload interval data in BillSave CSV format.

Users who create a BillSave account with their email can upload their own interval data in BillSave CSV format, calculate bills for supported electricity offers, compare estimates and use Find Best with the same actual usage data. Direct IAMMETER Cloud Site loading is available when signing in with IAMMETER.

Australia and Great Britain offer coverage baseline

BillSave now provides an auditable baseline for its supported electricity offer catalog in Australia and Great Britain. This first update records the coverage available on 4 September 2026; future entries will focus on additions and material changes rather than repeating the full baseline.

37 retailer brands and 8,522 executable regional offers

The Australian source catalog contains 8,526 offers. BillSave can currently calculate 8,522 of them: 6,041 are Verified and 2,481 are Estimated. Four catalog offers are not yet executable—one from Amber Electric and three from Flow Power.

Estimated offers remain calculable, but BillSave clearly labels the documented assumptions in the result. A Verified or Estimated label describes calculation evidence and quality; it is not a promise of eligibility, availability or savings.

BillSave currently covers 12 selected tariff families from five Great Britain Suppliers, represented as 168 regional offers and 238 published TariffVersions.

The 238 TariffVersions do not represent 238 different products. A regional offer can have more than one version when rates apply to different dates or VAT periods. Great Britain support remains a limited beta and does not include Northern Ireland.
