Calculate electricity bills from your interval energy data
BillSave is an independent electricity bill calculation and offer comparison platform. Choose a supported catalog offer, create your own in My Offers, or adapt a Community Offer. Use interval energy data to estimate bills and compare how different offers charge for the same usage.

Five steps to compare electricity offers
Create or connect an account
Create a BillSave account with your email, or continue with IAMMETER if you want to load an authorised IAMMETER Cloud Site directly.
Choose or create an offer
Browse catalog offers for Australia, Great Britain or France. Alternatively, create a private offer in My Offers or save a Community Offer to your account and edit your copy. Check its currency, timezone, pricing rules and required inputs.
Provide actual energy data
Upload 5, 15 or 30-minute BillSave CSV data. IAMMETER users may instead load a Cloud Site; Australian users can also upload NEM12.
Calculate the bill
Apply the supported tariff rules to the selected billing period and review the estimate, assumptions, coverage and component breakdown.
Compare selected offers
Select compatible offers in Find Plans, then use Compare Offers to calculate them against the same energy data. Your saved custom offers appear above the catalog results when their currency matches the workspace.
YOUR OWN PRICING RULES
Create your own offer or adapt a Community Offer
If your country or retailer is not in the catalog, you can start by defining your pricing rules in My Offers, or by finding a Community Offer with a similar structure and saving a private copy. A similar offer is a starting point: update it to match your own contract before calculating.
- Create from scratch: open My Offers, select a pricing model and enter your rates. Add time periods, usage tiers, seasonal rules, fixed charges, export credits or separately billed controlled-load rates as needed.
- Start from the community: browse Community Offers, save an offer to your account, then edit the copy in My Offers. Your changes do not affect the public version or other users.
- Check the currency, timezone, tax treatment, rates and time windows. Optional country and retailer labels do not automatically configure local billing rules.
- Save an offer version, choose Use in Run Bill, provide your energy data and calculate. You can also select compatible offers in Find Plans for Compare Offers.
- Custom-offer results are estimates based on your inputs. Community publication requires admin approval, but does not establish that an offer matches your contract.
COUNTRY NOT LISTED?
Check calculation compatibility before you start
You can create a custom offer without choosing a country, but calculation currently runs through the enabled country workspaces and requires a matching currency: AUD for Australia, GBP for Great Britain or EUR for France. The available models, energy-data requirements and workspace billing-period checks must also fit your case.
Other currencies cannot yet be calculated through this workflow. Do not relabel your prices as another currency to bypass the limit. If your currency or pricing rules are not supported, use “Template doesn’t meet your needs? Tell us” in My Offers to describe what you need.
